Research Report On Digital Art

Digital Art
Digital art is somewhat contemporary art that is created on the computer. It is mostly used for the media in advertising, film production, the special effects in movies, and video games. Digital art can be made on several different programs including Adobe Photoshop, PainterX, ArtRage, CAD, GIMP, Corel Painter, and many other softwaes. There are different techniques to making digital art such as digital painting, scanning photographs onto the computer, manipulating pictures to make them your own, and digital photography. There is 2D and 3D computer graphics which changes the way that the images look. 2D computer graphics are basic, simple looking images that are very pixelated, when 3D is more advanced, cleaner, and real looking. During the 1990's the technology for digital art advanced and was then added very heavily into movies, this was called CGI. Some of the founders of digital art were Manfred Mohr, Laurence Gartel, and John Lansdown.
